Ngorongoro Crater

The Ngorongoro Crater stands as one of the world's largest intact calderas and represents one of Africa's most unique and spectacular natural wonders, formed when a massive volcano collapsed millions of years ago, creating a natural amphitheater of breathtaking beauty. This UNESCO World Heritage Site spans 260 square kilometers and creates a completely natural enclosure with walls rising 600 meters high, supporting an incredible concentration of wildlife in a relatively small, accessible area.
